Session with TRYX on October 1, 2005'

Well, October started off with a TRYX get together, for fun and musical mayhem. This particular session had 60's Garage Punk as it's theme, and we blasted through a few tunes that came out of the rockin' garages in suburban America in rave-up fashion.

It wasn't supposed to be a "recording" session, but I had things setup and ready to go regardless. Instead of overdubbing, I decided to try a "live" recording technique - mic'ing the instruments, and letting it go as it flew. In order to save disk space, I used the Lo-Fi setting on the 880...which I think served the material well. There was no intense rehearsal of the songs...a quick intro to the beat, chords, and melody...and we were on our own (which is the way it was anyway).
