A Trilogy of Psychedelic Punk for the Masses:

These three CDs are what I'm refering to as my "Trilogy of Excess". They were recorded here at Saxon Sound over the course of the last couple years. Some tracks have guest artist', but mostly it's a solo project that grew out of a lot of guitar "noodling" and deep lyrics. The CDs are still available - so please contact me if you'd like to get a copy. I prefer to trade...but I'm open to just about anything.

All songs were recorded on the Roland VS-880.

This page has one 96kbps download from each CD. The quality is "listenable", but I suggest you try to get a copy to really enjoy them the way I intended.

ORANGE & RED

This is my first solo CD. It was recorded in the Spring of 2001', and it's about as raw as home recording gets. There's 11 songs that are tinged with Punk and Psychedelic ear candy. All songs written by Harry Baggs. All guitars, keys, and vocals by Harry Baggs. Drums are by Quincy McGirk.

The concept for the CD can be summed up in a line from Orange & Red: I know you think that the world runs in tan - but I'm gonna show you, Orange & Red"

WAKE & BAKE:

This CD was recorded in the Winter of 2002'. There are 10 songs filled with frustration and confusion, and spiced with generous amounts of Punk and Psychedelia. This is the second CD in the Trilogy, and it's subtitle "Where Have All The Hippies Gone".

All songs written by Harry Baggs. All guitars, keys, and vocals by Harry Baggs. Drums are by Quincy McGirk, and the ispiration comes from all the lousey music I heard in the last 10 years.

The third CD in the series is entitled: A FOREST IN YOUR MIND - recorded in the Winter of 2003'. This CD has 10 songs that are dedicated to PEACE, and/or our reluctance to accept it. Unlike the first two CDs, "Forest" has a much softer edge to it - while still packing a healthy dose of Psychedelic signatures.

All songs - except "Queen Nymphet" were written by Harry Baggs. There are many "guest" artist on this CD including drums by Quincy McGirk - Larry Carey - Joel Gausten additional guitars by Rich Rilliet - Anthony Rodriquez, vocals by Jim DiFlumerie, and harmonica by Farrell Jackson.
